 U8 ACADEMY TRAINING

We are excited to announce the beginning of the Ringgold Area Youth Soccer Association Academy Training (RAYSAAT) for the Fall 2021 Season. It is our goal to provide each youth a platform to focus on their individual play.

We will run an academy-style training for U8 on Vine Street, in New Eagle. This practice will run from 6pm to 7:30pm. It will be run by Matt Snyder (RAYSA Director of Player Development)

On another night there will be a second practice. That will be led by their own coach on day, time and field location.

The RAYSAAT program is designed to focus on the development and growth of RAYSA players through integrated involvement of RAYSA coaches and alumni. This program has been built to provide a consistent environment to focus on the individual player. Training sessions will challenge the individual skills of players and provide structure to their education of the larger game.

Concentrated training systems, such as this, are used by many of the top programs worldwide. Players will be motivated to engage in both physical and mental training. In session, players will be led through a series of topic-based trainings with a game-like application to test their understanding.

Players new to the game will be coached through the fundamentals and supported to ensure proper technique is adopted quickly.

Players with a solid foundation of skill will be provided with training to prepare them for the next level of the game. (Travel, Club, High School…)

What to expect:

-       10 Weeks of Training

-       Speed and Agility Activities

-       Individual Drills

-       Small Sided Games for Game Situations

-       Upbeat, Fun Activities

For Saturday morning games, the players will be coached by their team coaches.
